Welcome to Algebra II.
This year we are going to learning about polynomials.  Polynomials are a type of function that is very important to understand.  Polynomial equations describe the motion of objects falling or being shot through space.  We want to understand these equations so that we can better understand the world around us.  Through our study of polynomials, we will learn about the nature of equations and their graphs and how to think logically.  Even if you never use the content of this class again, the logical thinking skills you develop will aid you in whatever you choose to do with your life.
