Today the swim team won their first meet of the season!  We started out strong winning the first event, but Covenant came in first in all the next individual events.  It came down to the final relay.  We knew that they were up by a point or two, so thought that if we could win the final relay we would win the whole meet.  After the second swimmer started it was clear that our A relay was going to win and our B relay was gaining on their A relay and fighting for second place.  What we didn't know was that going into that final event Covenant was up by 6 points and the only way we could win is if we got a 1-2 finish in the 400 free relay.  But without even knowing that the entire fate of the team rested on their shoulders, the B relay (Cadets Ulsoltsev, MatthewsWall, Olszewski and Pinner) pulled out a second place finish and won the meet for us by one point 47-46. Congratulate all our swimmers on this close win.
