Having our first meet against the conference champions is always intimidating, especially this year as our two best swimmers weren't able to attend the meet, but our guys didn't let Hargrave get them down and we had some very strong performances. Tim Moriconi rocked the 500 free taking first place by 15 seconds. Gabriel Sun was a surprise power house placing third in both the 50 free and the 100 free. Julian MathewsWall stepped up for the team and swam the 200 IM despite getting in the water for the first time since last season only the day before the meet. The team really pushed themselves and did their best, which is everything a coach could ask for. -Coach Gray
