RMA had a much larger team than we did, so the chance of winning was small, but our team still shined.  Jacob Cochran and Brandon Olszewski placed 1-2 in the 100 Free.  Logan Amico, a new addition to the team, had a life time best in the 500.  Even though we knew there was no chance of us winning our guys fought incredibly hard in the final event and came in 1-2 in the 400 Free Relay.  B relays almost never beat A relays, so this finish was astounding.  Not only did we perform well athletically our guys were incredible sports men.  The coach from RMA was so impressed that he took the time to write an e-mail to COL Zinser commending the team: "From the first to the last gentleman that came into our facility, these gentlemen were courteous, respectful and great sports in all regards.  Specifically, when our Middle School boys (mostly 6th grade students) stepped up to compete in their 100 yard freestyle event, your men cheered my little guys on in a manner that was genuine and non-solicited.  I am a naturally emotional person, so you can imagine how this made me feel.  Equally, it brought about a great response from my own students as well as their parents, who were most complimentary of the manner in which your gentlemen conducted themselves."
